I was born in 1980 in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) where I spend my first 10 years. Later I moved with my family to the idyllic village Kransberg (Taunus) where I spend the rest of school time.
After finishing school and the alternative civilian service in 2000 I moved to Karlsruhe for studies in Chemical Engineering where I still am living.
Photography first of all was the creative valve of the pure technical studies and was intensified up to a passion during the 4 month that I spend with our mexican relatives in Mexico City.
I was influenced by the emotionality and intensive expressions of the photographic work of some mexican photographers and especially by knowing the photojournalist Araceli Herrera.
